   Well this has certainly been an eventful year for us. As I (Kelley) just took the GRE yesterday to apply to PhD programs in philosophy for next fall and I am still finishing up a few things for applications, I haven’t had time to send out traditional holiday cards in the mail. So we hope this cyber-greeting finds you all happy and well! As many of you probably already know, Jason and I got engaged last February. You can see his proposal by first clicking here and then clicking on the Valentine's Day Timeline picture. Although we haven't set an exact date, the wedding will most likely be towards the end of next summer.
   One big trend for us this year has been going to concerts and music festivals. I have seen more bands and music artists this year than all the rest of my life put together; although for Jason, who is an avid concert-goer, that is definitely not the case! As far as music festivals, we went to Coachella in California, Austin City Limits in Texas, and Vegoose in Nevada. You can see some pictures of the highlights of our year below. And we will put more pictures up from those events and others soon.
   On a sadder note, my beloved grandmother unfortunately passed away on April 16th. She is very missed by us all. But, in the end, she was peacefully in her home where she wished to be and surrounded by her whole family.
   This winter Jason and I will be skiing and snowboarding as much as we can again, and we even plan to go up to Whistler in Canada with my sister Stacey in April. I will also be writing my master’s thesis and Jason will continue to work on developing his graphic design career and business.
   Jason’s grandparents just celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary this November and his parents recently bought a vacation home in Palm Springs.
